Accordionist, Roger Van Wert, available for bookings in the Southern and Central New Hampshire area. Classically trained with jazz overtones musician for over 12 years with New England-renowned accordionist, Alan Gustavson.
Formed and played with Rock and Roll band, The Mixed Emotions, initially with the electrified accordion then organ for a few years before going away to school, earning degrees (B.A. with minor in music and M.B.A.; course work at Berklee School of Music, Boston, MA). Formed a general business band, Maury Conn Orchestra, while in Massachusetts, playing at Christmas parties, weddings, anniversaries, testimonials, political campaigns, and other events for 9 years.
Recent years of solo playing experience have been done while concentrating on popular classics and standards, most recently playing at area restaurant and retirement, assisted living, and rehabilitative homes.
